London’s LED neon light startup Yellowpop closes $4M as growth funding


Since the innovation of neon lights, many changes have been applied to them to make them more efficient. LED neon lights are one of them that made it more efficient to use domestically and for industrial use.

London-based, Yellowpop – a home brand specialising in LED neon signs, recently announced $4M (£2.84M) funding. The company aims to use the funding to continue its global expansion plans through 2021 by establishing itself as a lifestyle and home brand. It provides another means of decorating homes with thoughtful, trendy, bright and artist-designed LED neon lights to give life to the wall.

Participation of well-known early stage VC – Eutopia

The Paris and New York-based early-stage venture capital fund, Eutopia also participated in this funding round. The VC invests in consumer startups with a purpose who are reimagining the way people eat, dress, exercise and feel.

The Yellowpop’s successful funding round is the proof of an impressive growth recorded in the last two years since its launch. The company has partnered with  creators, designers, and artists on limited-edition collections like Jonathan Adler, Sarah Bahbah, André Saraiva, Susan Alexandra, Clara Bergel, David Elia, Emily Eldridge, Girl Knew York, and Jean André.

Blue-chip artists partnership to build holistic home decor brand

Yellowpop is planning to expand its product line further with main signature LED neon signs. The company will use the funding to expand and develop its product line into a home decor brand. As a part of the expansion plan, the company is beginning with a new partnership featuring blue-chip artists and brick-and-mortar retail locations in cities like New York, Paris, and London.

Apart from this, the company is also planning to increase their team size over dozens of different roles, who will look forward to improving product quality and fostering sustainable practices.
