Online therapy service Mynurva has raised a “six figure sum” from investors including Deepbridge Capital.
Mynurva seeks to provide fast access to a therapist or counsellor viat its live video platform and will use the Seed funding to continue developing its proprietary technology platform and to acquire more customers.
Zain Sikafi, Mynurva’s CEO and co-founder, commented on the raise : “We’re very excited to be working with Deepbridge. Their unique expertise in Digital Health, especially that of Savvas, is a major asset to us.”
Rachel Cornish CTO and co-founder went on to note: “We believe Mynurva has immense potential to transform Mental Health not just in the UK, but globally.
“Our experience in digital marketing combined with Deepbridge’s commercial know-how in commercialising digital technologies means we have an exciting period of growth ahead of us.”
Dr Savvas Neophytou, partner at Deepbridge and head of life sciences, will join the Mynurva’s board as a result of the investment.

Neophytou explained why he decided to invest in the startup.
