Anti-money laundering software company Thirdfort has revamped its c-suite team with the appointment of a new chief financial officer, chief revenue officer and combined chief technology and product officer.
Shared first with UKTN, Thirdfort has hired Anna Keren as CPTO, Neil Mullane as CRO and Pete Donell as CFO.
“I’m looking forward to helping drive new product development, enabling Thirdfort to better serve regulated professionals and reduce the time and risk associated with meeting KYC, AML and SoF compliance requirements,” said Keren.
London-based Thirdfort’s service is used by lawyers, estate agents and finance professionals to verify the identity of clients and conduct anti-money laundering checks.
The hires follow Thirdfort’s £15m Series A funding round in March last year.
Keren brings experience from Babylon Health, where she held the role of director of engineering. She was also Funding Circle UK’s engineering manager.
Before Thirdfort, Mullane also worked for Funding Circle UK as the head of UK sales and service. Before this, he was the head of corporate and business banking at Barclays.
“Drawing on my experience in building customer-focused revenue teams, I’m confident Thirdfort will continue delivering value to professionals as it scales across law, property, and finance,” said Mullane.
Donell joins from his previous role as finance director at CloudNC and Canopy.
Donell said: “As a finance professional, I understand how compliance requirements and fraud risk make it harder for conveyancers, estate agents and other regulated professionals to do business. Often the result is a slow and difficult experience for the end customer.”
