Pebble break Kickstarter record, Investments top $150m & more in your Week in Tech

UK tech investment is at a high, British startups Grabble and Instructure all raised, while online accounting service Xero bagged a whopping $111m.

Cyber security issues have reared an ugly head again as sim card provider Gemalto confirmed they were hacked back in 2010. Pebble broke a Kickstarter record for their smart watch reaching their $500,000 crowdfunding target in 17 minutes.

And soon you could be flying a drone using just your thoughts thanks to Tekever,  the Lisbon based startup who are currently exploring brain wave sensing technology…
