UK founded tech firm Move Guides gets $48m Series C

snupps funding

Move Guides, a London-founded SaaS employee management platform, has closed a $48m (£37.3M) Series C.

The round, which brings the company’s total funding raised to date to $91m (£70.8m), drew support from Future Fund, New Enterprise Associates (NEA) and Notion Capital.

Established in 2012, Move Guides closed a $8.2m (£6.3m) Series A in October 2014 and a $15.6m (£12.1m) Series B in October 2015.

Move Guides founder and CEO, Brynne Kennedy, said: “The change we’re driving in the market is profound. Move Guides’ Talent Mobility Cloud enables global organizations to turn workforce mobility into a true competitive advantage.

“Our customers include market leaders across financial services, manufacturing, and technology and other sectors who are all gaining business advantages through more agile and data driven global mobility.”

The raise comes after the firm expanded its leadership earlier in the year and follows on from its acquisition of Estonia-based Teleport, a software company which also helped relocate employees.

“Global mobility management is the next frontier for HR tech. Effectively deploying talent in the right place at the right time yields the highest competitive advantages for organizations,” said Ravi Viswanathan, general partner at NEA.

“Move Guides has developed the first cloud-based software platform to power the mobile workforce. They are disrupting traditional relocation companies and ushering in the future of talent management and workforce planning.”
