UK tech innovation
A new UK Tech Innovation Index published today by the Open Data Institute and the Digital Catapult shows that London, Edinburgh, Manchester, Brighton and Southampton are the top five cities for data innovation.
The same research shows Reading and Liverpool came on top for innovation in IoT.
Additionally, the data suggests that smaller cities such as Aberdeen and Coventry were thriving manufacturing innovation hubs.
