A female founded tech startup which describes itself as the “Skyscanner of home furnishings” has set its sights on disrupting a £14bn market in the UK.
The tech startup called Kuldea has launched an online search and comparison site dedicated solely to home furniture and furnishings. Kuldea allows users to search and be inspired by a unique depth of products and compare them across a vast amount of furniture retailer partners.
Since February 2019 the website has launched with 60,000 products from over 40 retailers. The company is on track to grow to over 300,000 products by Autumn 2019 and to be partnering with around 100 retailers by the end of December 2019.
The business aims to connect consumers and retailers by searching thousands of products in just seconds and selecting the right matches from a broad spectrum of retailers encompassing larger, well-known brands and smaller, unique, independent retailers too.
Founded by Deirdre Mc Gettrick and Ray Wright, a London based couple, who are putting their experience from corporate careers to developing Kuldea into a disruptive and market leading technology business that revolutionises the online furniture market.
