Tech City UK adds 26 tech companies to its Future Fifty programme

Tech City UK has announced the names of the 26 new technology companies joining its Future Fifty programme.

The programme will seek to give these companies access to expert-led support to help them grow.

Parveen Dhanda, the program lead for Future Fifty at Tech City UK, commented on the news, highlighting how the chosen companies represented the diversity and depth of the UK technology sector.

“Together, they represent the diversity and depth of the UK technology sector. Their passion and talent has seen them do amazing things so far and we look forward to helping them to take the next step,” he added.

Gerard Grech, CEO of Tech City UK, said that the Future Fifty companies offered a glimpse into the UK’s digital future.

Grech added: “Britain remains one of the best places in the world to start a tech business and we will make sure it remains so. These companies have global ambitions and with the support of the tech community we will do everything we can to help them, so that they can create jobs and opportunities across the UK – as their successful predecessors have done.”

The 26 companies are:

  • Azimo: founded in 2012, is an online international money transfer service that allows people to send money to any internet-connected device in over 190 countries around the world.
  • Blis: founded in 2004, uses advanced location data technology to create audiences for advertisers.
  • Bloom & Wild: founded in 2013, provides flower delivery through the letterbox.
  • Carwow: founded in 2010, a online platform that connects new car buyers to authorized dealer.
  • ClearScore: founded in 2014, is a company that provides free access to credit scores and reports.
  • Condeco Group: founded in 2005, help companies manage their meeting and office spaces more effectively.
  • Ebury: founded in 2009, is a financial services company that helps small and medium enterprises grow internationally with foreign exchange, business lending and cash management .–solutions.
  • Epos Now: founded in 2011, is a point-of-sale software and hardware provider that automates small business banking.
  • Fairsail: founded in 2007, provides cloud-based human resources and people management software to mid-sized organizations.
  • Festicket: founded in 2012, is an online marketplace to discover book musical festival experiences.
  • Gousto: founded in 2012, provides innovative recipe boxes with pre-portioned ingredients packaged and delivered to the door each week.
  • Interact: founded in 1996, provides intranet software and professional services to help companies solver internal communication and collaboration challenges.
  • Kano: founded in 2013, creates computers and coding kits for all ages.
  • LoveCrafts: founded in 2012, is an online community and marketplace for the crafts sector.
  • My UNiDAYS: founded in 2011, connects brands and services to a verified audience of students around the world.
  • Onfido: founded in 2012, is an identity verification platform to helps over 1,000 companies ensure their customers are who they claim to be.
  • Receipt Bank: founded in 2010, automates small business bookkeeping.
  • ROLI: founded in 2009, is a music technology company that makes a modular music creation system that opens up new possibilities for musical expression.
  • founded in 2013, is an online pet nutrition service that makes and delivers tailormade food for an individual dog’s unique diet and nutritional needs.
  • Thread: founded in 2012, is an e-commerce company that human stylists and machine learning to help men dress well without going shopping.
  • Threads Styling: founded in 2009, is a company reinventing luxury goods commerce for the Snapchat generation.
  • Spitfire Audio: founded in 2015, provides virtual instruments to composers and producers to produce and earn royalties on quality musical samples.
  • SuperAwesome: founded in 2013, powers a kid-safe digital media ecosystem with products that are designed for kids’ data privacy requirements.
  • Swoon Editions: founded in 2012, is an online furniture brand that works directly with suppliers to provide better quality products at a better price than traditional retailers.
  • Trak Global Group: founded in 2009, is a telematics company that uses embedded devices to gather data and manage driver risk.
  • Ve Interactive: founded in 2009, provides software that helps companies with digital advertising and online conversion.
