Use multiple computers? Tired of moving your files around? Get instant access to your files across multiple devices with Ego! Smartmouse
London-based Laura Sapiens are trying to raise £20,000 on Kickstarter to fund development of their new smartmouse.
The Ego! Smartmouse recognises devices using an in-built camera and on-screen QR codes and instantly connects via bluetooth.
Once connected, you’ll then get access to a folder on your desktop which is home to the mouse’s internal storage as well as cloud storage provided by Ego!

Ego! also functions as an ‘air mouse’ if lifted off your desk. Its in-built accelerometer, gyro and optical sensor allow wii-remote style functionality for gaming.

The smartmouse remembers your passwords for your favourite websites and also delivers notifications through vibrations.
It also recognises gestures so you can open folders with a flick of the wrist.
Bringing the mouse into the 21st century
Laura Sapiens was founded in 2011 with the goal of improving interactions between humans and machines. The team consists of two guys called Matteo and three guys called Stefano and they have headquarters in both Italy and London.
Ego! Smartmouse charges via micro-USB cable, but you might not need to use this often as the team claim it’s energy efficient and automatically switches itself off after use.
With plenty of time before their deadline and an impressive pitch, Laura Sapiens may be onto a winner here, despite all having the same name.
