Braintree is making it easier for European-based businesses to sign up for its ecommerce platform with a new on-boarding process already available in the U.S., the company announced today.
The company shared the news at the Web Summit conference in Dublin, where Braintree chief executive Bill Ready was speaking on the main stage.

He also said Braintree was dangling a new incentive: The first $50,000 processes will not be charged fees.
Now European businesses can quickly enable their websites to accept payments with as little information as an email, company URL, and business description.
Paypal acquired Braintree last year for $800 million. Braintree’s system makes it easy for merchants to accept payments across a wide range of devices and platforms.
