Performance marketing and data company Decision Tech has acquired comparemymobile.com for an undisclosed sum.

Comparemymobile.com is a gadget recycling comparison site and its acquisition comes just three months after London-based Decision Tech completed the acquisition of sellmymobile.com.

Decision Tech also operates broadbandchoices.co.uk and claims to be the most-used price comparison service for consumers and businesses trading in mobiles and other gadgets.

It also provides technology, data and performance analytics for brands including Gocompare.com and Confused.com.

Michael Philips, CEO at Decision Tech, said comparemymobile.com will become a platform for the firm’s mobile product family and will help consumers throughout the lifecycle of owning a smartphone.

“This acquisition also enriches our B2B data products, further strengthening our position as a performance marketing and data business in a time when our clients demand cost effective customer acquisition and real time intelligence to optimise decision making,” he added.

Decision Tech was founded in 2005 and received £10m investment in 2012 from BGF (Business Growth Fund).

Mark Nunny, an investor at BGF who sits on the board of Decision Tech, said: “Having completed two acquisitions within the space of three months, Decision Tech continues to demonstrate great momentum in executing its strategy.”

“We are backing a team that is both driven and disciplined in its approach to identifying acquisition opportunities, and we are very much looking forward seeing the business scale even further over the next 12 months,” he concluded.
