Male-owned venture capital funds received around 10 times more investment from limited partners (LPs) than their woman-owned counterparts over the last six years, according to new data.

Between 2017 and 2023, funds owned entirely by men also raised almost five times more than mixed-gender funds, according to a report from VC firm Ada Ventures, Diversity VC and Google Cloud.

According to the report, just 7p in every pound raised from LPs over the period has gone to all-woman funds, while 17p in every pound went to mixed ownership funds.
