HealthTech startup Your.MD raises $10m

London-based HealthTech startup Your.MD has raised $10m in funding in a round led by Orkla Ventures.

Smedvig Capital, an existing investor, also participated alongside other undisclosed backers.

Similarly to Babylon, Your.MD leverages artificial intelligence and chatbots to help consumers find out what their ailments may mean.

Additionally, TechCrunch says the company runs the “OneStop Health Platform”, a marketplace which houses various trusted healthcare providers which can be recommended to users as necessary.

At the moment, Your.MD claims to have 35 HealthTech businesses registered on its platform and says it is looking to increase this over the coming months.

The company also says it has been downloaded 2.1m times and claims to have almost one million active users every month.

Your.MD had previously raised $7.3m in 3 rounds from 2  investors.
