Buzzfeed is to set up its UK headquarters in Headspace, a new office and co-working space in Farringdon.
The website is leasing the building’s largest individual office for its 15-strong London team.
The website will join brand film agency Klein & Sons and tech educators General Assembly in the office space.
Content with life
Buzzfeed has quickly grown to fame due to its shareable ‘listicle’ content, and launched in the UK this year.
UK Editor Luke Lewis said the space gives Buzzfeed perfect platform to grow its UK business.
The office is bright and fresh and everything is taken care of so we can just focus creating great content.
Headspace is the newest addition to London’s flexible working scene.
It’s aimed at individuals, start-ups and SMEs that want to work in a stylish, centrally located office space without the day-to-day hassle of office management.
Headpsace’s Jonathan Rosenblatt said:
“Many in the tech sector have been vocal proponents of collaborative working.
“Steve Jobs famously designed the offices of Pixar with this very concept in mind – so it’s perhaps no surprise that Buzzfeed are taking our largest single space.”
