CareLineLive raises £3m to digitise home care workflow

CareLineLive, a digital management system for home care, has raised £3m as the West Sussex-based company continues its expansion into Ireland and Australia.

Founded in 2014 out of frustration with the limited information provided during home care, CareLineLive has created a digital platform to manage all aspects of providing medical care at home.

The company has worked with NHS Trusts over the past two years to develop its at-home services.

“The home care sector is currently facing many challenges, from staff shortages to a lack of funding, often making it hard to deliver quality care for clients,” said CareLineLive co-founder, Josh Hough.

“To combat this, our mission is to streamline paper-based and other legacy processes, improve carer communication and ultimately give them back more time to do what they love best: caring.”

CareLineLive digitises the workflow of homecare providers and uses automation to optimise operations.

The new funding for the company was provided by the investment group Oakglen, which will also provide operational support to the startup.

“CareLineLive has established itself well in a large and growing market, which we think will benefit from demographic tailwinds over the coming years,” said Oakglen group co-CEO, Nick Crawford.

“We believe that the strength of the product, the focus on customer service, and the domain expertise of the management team provides a great foundation for growth.”

The startup previously raised £1.2m in a funding round in April 2021 led by Haatch Ventures.
