From the start, we have been obsessed with people’s struggles to access legal support. But we underestimated how intimidating the scale and complexity of that problem would feel up close.
Early on, that fear pushed us toward shortcuts. We spent too long chasing recurring revenue models, gentler go-to-market angles, and softer places to start. At one point we even explored building a SaaS product for law firms....
