US-headquartered law firm Perkins Coie is expanding its UK tech team with a new appointment to its London-based tech transaction and privacy (TTP) team.
Arnav Joshi, who joins Perkins Coie as a partner, specialises in digital regulation, AI, privacy, data protection, cybersecurity and tech policy.
Joshi, a former researcher at the London School of Economics and senior data protection and AI associate at PwC, will support the law firm’s goal of helping clients navigate UK and EU regulatory cross-border challenges.
“Arnav’s extensive knowledge of UK and EU tech regulation, combined with his experience advising global technology leaders, makes him a tremendous addition to our expanding London presence,” said Andrew Grant, firmwide chair of Perkins Coie’s TTP practice.
“Arnav will be instrumental in further building out our global privacy and data security solutions in response to increased client demand and AI-related investment.”
Most recently, Joshi worked as a senior associate and counsel at the legal practice Clifford Chance.
“Perkins Coie has an outstanding reputation for helping the world’s most innovative technology companies to grow, and I’m thrilled to join a team and firm that shares my passion for the technologies of tomorrow,” Joshi said.
“Household names around the world look to Perkins Coie for seamless, practical solutions and successful outcomes in navigating complex legal challenges. I’m excited to help broaden the firm’s deep tech expertise for European clients.”
