Payments and banking platform OpenPayd has appointed Yasemin Swanson as the firms new chief operations officer (COO).
Swanson will be responsible for scaling OpenPayd’s operational infrastructure as it looks to expand globally and secure additional regulatory milestones.
The new OpenPayd executive joins the company from clearing and embedded banking company ClearBank, worth around $1bn, where she held a handful of roles, including head of operations, chief operations officer and chief business officer.
Swanson has also held senior roles at Barclaycard, GoCardless and Vocalink, a fintech group owned by Mastercard.

Swanson’s background includes know your customer and anti-money laundering monitoring.
