Private equity firm Palatine has announced an investment in OryxAlign, a UK-headquartered IT and network infrastructure management group, to expand its growth in the data centre market.
Founded in 2006 by chief executive Carl Henriksen, OryxAlign employs approximately 130 people.
The company specialises in delivering network design and build services, primarily targeting the built environment and the rapidly expanding data centre sector—a vertical projected to grow by nearly 30% annually.
The financial details of the transaction were not disclosed; however, the investment has come from Palatine’s £254m Buyout Fund V, the second deal made from the fund and the third tech services investment in the past 12 months.
Palatine has previously backed Atombit Group and fulfilmentcrowd.
“Palatine brings more than capital,” said Henriksen. “They bring expertise, a collaborative approach, and a shared belief that how you do business is just as important as what you achieve.”
The new capital injection will be used to fund growth, invest in internal systems, and pursue targeted strategic acquisitions to extend the firm’s reach into existing European markets, including Germany and the Nordics.
As part of the deal, Palatine investment director Danielle Garland and partner Andy Strickland will join the OryxAlign board.

“The critical infrastructure sector with the data centre sector as a core component is one of the most exciting growth verticals in tech services and OryxAlign’s end-to-end capability — from network design and build through to managed services — gives it a compelling and differentiated position.”
