TMT leads $650,000 investment in Scentbird

New York-based fragrance delivery service Scentbird has unveiled a $650,000 funding round led by AIM-listed TMT Investments.

The subscription-based firm delivers a 30-day supply of designer perfume direct to your door for $14.95, while also claiming to be able to an algorithm that helps women pick what scent to wear.

TMT put $300,000 into the round, with the rest of the cash put up by New York’s Dominion Capital, along with individual investors.

“Scentbird is a revolutionary service which is being well executed and can be considered as the ‘Netflix for perfume’,” said Alexander Selegenev, Executive Director of TMT Investments. “It works very well with consumer’s desires to try out new fragrances through a cost-effective and community-based experience.”
