TheJobPost raises £600k to reinvent how you hire

Recruitment crowdsourcing platform TheJobPost has raised £600k to explore new market opportunities.

The London-based platform acts as a middle man between employers and over 35,000 recruiters so that the hiring process can be as efficient as possible.

The investment also brought the appointment of two new non-executive directors, co-founder of Jenson8 Cindy Irvine and former Group HR Director of BT Alex Wilson, and a board advisor, Thomas Chambers, CFO of Robert Walters.

Crowdsourcing recruitment

Through the platform, employers post a vacancy and recruitment companies buy access to each post.

The companies can then each put forward candidates they believe to be most suitable and TheJobPost then selects the best matched candidates and presents them to the employer.

The business has now raised over £1m in 2014 and is looking to increase its activity outside of the UK.

‘Exceptional results’

Employers that currently use the platform include Nestlé, Epson, Next and Harrods.

John Paul Caffery, CEO of TheJobPost, says he now believes the company is “ideally placed to capitalise on demand and deliver exceptional results”.

Our recent investment in a much stronger technology development team, increased sales, marketing and events capability means we’ve been able to meet demand from both major UK employers and RPO providers .
