Graduates raise £27m through Startupbootcamp

Startupbootcamp graduates raise an average of €411,288 (£340,000) according to new data released today.

Startupbootcamp runs 3-month ‘acceleration’ programmes to equip heavyweight startups with the skills to upscale their companies.

80% of initiatives accelerated by Startupbootcamp still operate 12 months after graduating from their program, and 67% go on to raise follow-on funding.

Making it big

Startupbootcamp’s 123 graduates have now created 456 jobs and raised a total of £27m.

Success stories include KidsWatcher, which raised £185,000 within 48 hours from equity-based crowd funding

Commenting on the news, Alex Farcet, Startupbootcamp co-founder said they’ve seen dozens of companies go on to raise considerable amounts of investment with several having been acquired:

Part of what makes Startupbootcamp different from other accelerators is our vertical programmes such as NFC & Contactless Interactions in Amsterdam and the Mobile in Copenhagen that are run by true industry experts and supported by a global network of partners and mentors

In the pipeline

In the future Startupbootcamp plan to launch programmes around themes of FinTech, E-commerce and the Internet of Things.
