Forensic research platform Kusiri wins 3D FinTech challenge

London startup Kusiri has won the 3D FinTech Challenge 2013, an accelerator programme focused on data visualisation.

The startup has been awarded £15,000 and a main stage slot at Dassault Systèmes’ 3DEXPERIENCE Customer Forum in Las Vegas, showcasing to over 200 major global corporations.

Kusiri is a research and investigation platform designed for bringing together Big Data.

The system simplifies the acquisition of data, and automates the repetitive processes involved in analysing it.

Bringing tools to FinTech

The six-week accelerator challenge was led by Dassault Systèmes the 3DEXPERIENCE company, with Pivotal Innovations at Level39, Canary Wharf Group’s accelerator initiative.

The focus was to bring accelerated product innovation, immersive 3D visualisation and process digitisation to the financial services arena.

Kurisi beat 5 other finalists ACE Consensus, Conatix, Intrepid, Logical Glue & LBM.

Leaps and bounds

20842caFounder Tim Clark is obviously more than a tad pleased.

The team have worked very hard to get us here and it’s a huge achievement.

The Dassault leaders have been so supportive.

But he’s equally a little apprehensive about his Las Vegas debut:

I’ll be on the main stage – thats a huge leap for a working class boy from Hillingdon!
