London-based Perkbox, a digital employee engagement platform, has raised $8.6m (£6.6m) from Draper Esprit.
The company, launched in 2015, has to date attracted $12m (£9m) in funding from Draper Esprit and now employs more than 165 people.
Today’s news comes after Tech City News revealed the firm’s office opening in Sheffield and its plans to create more than 100 jobs in the city by the end of next year.
Saurav Chopra, CEO and co-founder of Perkbox, commented on the news: “We are exceptionally happy to have Draper Esprit as a significant investor in Perkbox.
“We believe they understand and agree with our mission to create a better society through building stronger relationships with employees and customers, and we continuously benefit from their insight and assistance in building a global scalable business in our defined end user markets.”
Perkbox will use the cash to grow its customer base which now includes the likes of Deliveroo, Worldpay and BlaBlaCar.

The firm is also looking to expand overseas.
