Doctify closes Series A led by Amadeus Capital Partners

Healthcare booking platform Doctify has announced the closure of a Series A round led by Amadeus Capital Partners.

Although the size of the round remains undisclosed, the startup says it received a seven figure sum.

Founded last year, Doctify allows patients to search for specialist doctors and book appointments online.

Doctify co-founder Stephanie Eltz, said: “Amadeus has significant experience and resources in the digital healthcare sector in the UK and beyond, which we will put to good use as Doctify develops plans to access international markets next year.”

The company, which is focused on the private healthcare market, currently allows patients to connect with doctors working in 47 different specialist therapy areas. These include cardiology, oncology, paediatrics, dentistry and dermatology.

“With healthcare systems the world over still principally paper-based and appointments made over the phone, Doctify is at the forefront of digitising patient bookings and is well-positioned to become both the market leader in the UK and an established player in Europe,” said Pierre Socha, principal at Amadeus Capital Partners.

Doctify is free for patients with clinicians paying a monthly fee to list on the platform.
