Howspace integrates with video conferencing software Whereby

Last week Howspace announced the launch of HowspaceLive, a fully integrated conference tool added to its communication platform. The addition of video calls to this tool is powered by video conferencing tool Whereby, a leading digital conference provider. This video addition works to fill a fundamental missing video gap – adding to Howspace’s capacities of digital chats, bookings and documents. This allows for everything an office requires to be brought together into one all-encompassing platform.

Whereby, first established in 2013, is a digital conferencing tool that enables teams of up to 50 to meet virtually via video call. Unique features of the software include direct integration with Google Docs, Google Calendar, Outlook Calendar and YouTube, as well as custom features including personalised URL links and branded backgrounds.

Whereby’s software has allowed for HowspaceLive to enable instant connection between workspace users. Team members can screen share, record meetings, and edit documents on a collaborative and visual video platform. Adding video call features requires little to no hassle at all from companies, with a simple creation of a custom URL link that can be dragged and dropped. This allows for seamless real-time communication.

HowspaceLive users can now discuss a topic with their peers, progress with it using the tools of digital chats and documents provided by the platform, and then discuss this via video chat which was not possible before. Those who join at a later point can use Whereby’s recording feature by downloading the meeting room and catching up with what was missed.
