Fintech Revolut will give its retail customers access to ChatGPT Go as part of a new partnership with OpenAI.

ChatGPT Go is a medium tier subscription for the AI chatbot that typically costs users a monthly fee of £7.

It allows higher usage limits than a free account as well as file uploads, document analysis and image generation.

Revolut will offer retail customers on its Metal and Ultra subscriptions free access to the premium tier of ChatGPT 12 months, while the cheaper two Revolut subscriptions will offer ChatGPT Go for three and six months respectively.

“We want to empower our customers with tools that are part of their entire day, beyond finance,” said Tara Massoudi, partner and general manager for premium products at Revolut.

“We’ve been building an extensive portfolio that supports how they travel, work, connect, and take care of their health. Today, AI is not a nice to have, it’s an essential for everyday life.

Emmanuel Marill, managing director for EMEA at OpenAI said: “We’re excited to partner with Revolut to bring ChatGPT Go to its millions of customers worldwide, so they can use AI to make everyday life easier — from tackling life admin and planning trips to learning and creating. With this partnership even more people will be able to get even more from AI.”
