Founders Forum Group and Accenture have launched a joint ‘AI for Growth’ alliance to support more British businesses to reap the benefits of AI.
The alliance will support businesses with guidance on security, upskilling and infrastructure.
Founders Forum Group and Accenture will work together to develop tools and assets to drive safe and scalable AI adoption across the UK, with a particular focus on SMEs of which just 35% are using AI. The alliance believes this is leaving ‘significant opportunity’ on the table.
Core ecosystem partners of the alliance include BT, Cyberstaff, DSIT, ElevenLabs, Faculty, Fifty-One Degrees, Lumi.Network, Latent Space Advisory, Multiverse, Ollo, Quantexa, Synthesia and Upskill Universe.
“The UK has set an ambitious direction for leading AI adoption, but we know that structural gaps and a lack of coordination are holding back businesses from actually reaping the gains,” says Carolyn Dawson, CEO of Founders Forum Group.
“AI for Growth will fill this gap by serving as the single point of engagement for government and industry. Launching the alliance today is just the start – in 2026, we’ll announce practical initiatives designed to boost adoption in the companies where AI will make a real difference.”
In February, government ministers called on the UK’s regulatory bodies to publish plans outlining how they can each support the safe adoption of AI across their jurisdictions. Technology secretary Liz Kendall and her predecessor jointly wrote to the 19 regulators deemed to be responsible for the sectors with the most potential for AI adoption.
