ElevenLabs has cemented its place as the UK’s most valuable AI firm after a $500m (£368m) Series D investment has valued it at $11bn.
The new funding round London-headquartered group, known for its powerful AI-generated audio technology specialising in voice generation, has been led by US investment group Sequoia.
The sizeable Series D also includes significant support from the likes of a16z, Iconiq, BroadLight, NFDG, Valor Capital, AMP Coalition, and Smash Capital as well as new investors Lightspeed Venture Partners, Evantic Capital and Bond.
Discussing the funding round, ElevenLabs co-founder Mati Staniszewski said “it reflects the trust of customers and partners building at the frontier alongside us – and gives us momentum to ship even faster”.
Staniszewski added: “With this funding, we’re going even deeper with ElevenAgents – our conversational Agents Platform helping enterprises elevate customer experience, revenue teams, and streamline internal operations.
“Over the coming days, we’re rolling out a new conversational model for our Agents Platform – one that’s faster and better at understanding and expressing emotion – building on the new v3 model – and our new orchestration, with an improved turn-taking system.”
ElevenLabs first became the UK’s most valuable AI business in January 2025 when it was valued at $3bn. Since then it has gone back and forth with London’s Synthesia, currently valued at $4bn.
The latest funding round, however, puts ElevenLabs firmly at the top, with some impressive revenue figures backing it up. Last year saw the company reach annual recurring revenue of $330m.
