Conservative peer Lord Kulveer Ranger has been appointed to the board of directors of British AI firm Automated Analytics.

Ranger, who was appointed to the House of Lords in 2023, has held a handful of prominent roles in and out of the tech industry.

In the public sector, Ranger worked in the London mayorship of Boris Johnson, serving as the director for transport, environment and digital, off the back of his background working with Transport for London in the early 2000s.

Ranger also previously sat on the board of British trade association techUK.

“I am pleased to be joining the board of Automated Analytics at such a pivotal moment for the business and for the wider adoption of AI across industries,” Ranger said.

“I look forward to working with the leadership team to support the company’s strategic direction and governance as it continues to grow in the UK and internationally.”

Doncaster-based Automated Analytics is a tech firm that provides AI tools for businesses including lead generation, recruitment management and sales attribution.

“We are delighted to welcome Lord Ranger to our Board,” said Automated Analytics chief executive Mark Taylor.

“His depth of expertise and insight, particularly at the intersection of technology, infrastructure, and policy, will strengthen our governance framework and provide valuable counsel as we advance our growth strategy.”
