That’s a level of political turnover that would be unusual in most countries, but sadly it has become something of a constant in Britain’s political landscape.

The technology sector, however, operates on a very different rhythm. Building globally competitive companies takes years, and the decisions founders, investors and international businesses make today are shaped by expectations about stability far into the future.
