Edtech firm Gojimo smashes crowdfunding target with two days to go

Digital exam prep tool Gojimo has exceeded its £500,000 crowdfunding target on Crowdbnk with two days left to go of the campaign.

The company has raised more than £600,000 from around 50 investors, offering a 9.09% stake in its business.

Gojimo is available on iOS, Android and online and has more than 50,000 free, curriculum-specific assessment items on offer to its 250,000 monthly active users.

The company also sells premium content from major educational publishers via in-app purchases.

Gojimo is already backed by Index Ventures and JamJar Investments, from the Innocent Drinks founders, to the tune of $2m and is now widening its scope to the US and South Africa.
