EXCLUSIVE: London-based MarTech startup Tailify closes $1m Seed

Lottery

London-based startup Tailify has raised $1m in Seed funding from Awin, alongside Founders Factory and various undisclosed angel investors.

The company, founded in 2013 after the co-founders met at university, says it has been profitable since February this year and is working with the likes of L’Oréal, AOL, Disney and Coca Cola.

Tailify works in the influencer-marketing space, helping big brands create, distribute and evaluate influencer campaigns via its proprietary technology platform.

The cash will be used to support the MarTech firm’s sales and marketing efforts, accelerate product development and expand its community of influencers.

Fredrik Segerby, CEO and co-founder, said: “Influencers are becoming the new media powerhouses but larger more established brands and media agencies have looked upon working with them as risky. We’ve developed a solution that offers security, transparency and efficiency required by the largest advertisers in the world.”

The company, co-founded by CMO Fredrik Martini Andersson and CPO Didrik Svendsen, claims it is set to hit revenues of more than $2m this year.

Tailify recently graduated from Founders Factory‘s beauty tech accelerator programme, backed by L’Oréal.
