Mobile gaming analytics, forecasting and user acquisition (UA) startup Kohort has closed a $7m (£5.1m) Series A round to build UA agents for mobile game studios using AI.
Kohort’s machine learning-based predictive analytics platform is built for the gaming and consumer sectors, helping mobile game studios, operators, finance teams and investors optimise user acquisition spend and perform M&A due diligence.
The Series A was led by The Raine Group, expanding Raine’s existing relationship with Kohort following its seed investment in 2025 and a commercial partnership with the platform over the past nine months. The funds will support development of Kohort’s agent suite.
“Kohort has a clear pathway to become a category-defining platform in UA agents and solve the biggest problem in mobile apps today,” said John Salter, partner and cofounder at The Raine Group.
“The Kohort team is lean, AI-native and delivers high quality results at speed. We believe that Kohort’s predictive LTV capabilities and UA optimisation technology provide the building blocks for future partnership opportunities, including the potential for a new product around user acquisition financing.”
Kohort’s agent suite focuses on campaign optimisation, deep research and automated reporting tailored thorough decks and reports generated automatically.
