Lune & Wild has raised £2m in a Series A funding round led by Guinness Ventures to scale production, expand its retail footprint and build on its mission to redefine what children eat.

Lune & Wild is an organic baby and children’s food brand built on chef-crafted recipes, specialist paediatric nutrition and ingredient sourcing.

The company’s latest fundraise includes backing Dr Rupy Aujla and Doug Struthers, chairman of Lune & Wild and ex-MD of Ella’s Kitchen, in addition to existing investors Charlie Gardiner, founder and owner of OurHouse Clubs, Siân Parry Jones, co-founder of Archer Street Cocktail Bar, and Harry Bloice, ex-commercial director at Butternut Box.

The new funding will support Lune & Wild to significantly increase production capacity while maintaining its hands-on, chef-led approach. Investment will also be directed towards accelerating retail launches, including its recent Ocado.com listing, alongside marketing and key team hires.

“From day one, we’ve believed that children deserve better food that’s full of flavour, made with care and genuinely supports their development,” says Lara Rodgers, co-founder of Lune & Wild.

“This investment allows us to take our mission and products further, without compromising on the quality and craft that got us here.”
