Revolut co-founder Vlad Yatsenko will step down as the fintech’s chief technology officer next month, according to a company statement.
Yatsenko has held the role since the company’s launch in 2014 and in that time has helped see it to becoming Europe’s most valuable private tech firm and launch as a fully licensed UK bank.
He will transition to a non-executive director role from July.
Revolut’s head of technology Donato Lucia will replace Yatsenko as the company’s most senior technology executive with the new title of vice president of technology.
A Revolut spokesperson said: “We are pleased that Vlad will continue to lend his expertise to the company as he remains on the Board, now as a Non-Executive Director.”
No further reason has been given at this time.
