Care Hires, a location-based app and cloud-based software solution that allows health & social care providers to hire on demand Care staff more efficiently and cost effectively has today announced it has secured £500,000 angel investment from Mattioli Woods founder and its clients.
With Care Providers struggling to meet staff shortages and Care Home Managers spending between £5bn – 7bn per year using traditional agency staff. Care Hires look to change this and give full control back to the Care Providers with all aspects of agency staffing.
The solution allows Care Home to post jobs via their own portal at www.carehires.com. The job is broadcasted in real time to the Care Hires network and matched with suitably qualified and vetted candidates.
The process is automated end to end minimising the administrative burden for providers and reducing their costs.
The seed investment allows the company to roll out its service to Care Providers across the UK and onboard the required workforce. The investment will be used to amplify sales and marketing functions in addition to bolstering its tech infrastructure.
Nizam Bata, Co-Founder, said: “We are revolutionising recruitment across the care industry and looking to provide a simple solution to an industry in crisis. We want to become a chosen partner for care providers for all staffing requirements, management & insights.

“Large margins are paid to agencies with little additional support in terms of booking and management and they are regularly supplying inexperienced and untrained staff. We aim to put more profits back into the pockets of care providers so they can reinvest into what matters which is looking after their residents and service users.”
Chairman Ian Mattioli added: “We have fantastic investors in this funding round, all bringing a range of expertise to help make Care Hires the preferred staffing partner to all Providers across the UK.
“The frontline staff in the NHS and Health & Social Care are doing an incredible job during this difficult period and the Care Hires solution is ensuring providers are able to get the quality staff they need when they need it the most. We couldn’t be prouder of the workers on the platform and are confident that the current shift in use of technology will ensure Care Hires is able to revolutionise this market.”
