Which role was the most important early hire you made?

A T-shaped, entrepreneurial branding and marketing lead who could think strategically but also execute. Early on, distribution and positioning matter as much as product.

We were fortunate to scale that function ~20x, which had a direct impact on pipeline, partnerships, and how the market understood what we were building.

What is a common mistake you see Founders make?

Not thinking in systems. Many founders optimise for individual features, hires, or tactics, but do not design how everything connects. Without a system, things don’t compound, and growth becomes fragmented rather than scalable....
