While three quarters of respondents to a survey by TransferWise said they would consider using technology companies for services currently provided by banks; London-based Aire, a credit score provider for those without a credit history, announced plans to expand to North America and Canada.

Barclaycard made the headlines with a new app update that enabled customers to make NFC payments using their Android phones, but the company couldn’t confirm when it will roll out Apple Pay.
