After the Christmas break, we are now back with the first Fintech Monthly of 2015.

We’ve kicked off the year with some huge fintech investment which will hopefully set the tone for the year to come.

Follow us on Twitter at @FintechMonthly to stay up-to-date in 2015.

In the news

This month, we cover the investments in bitcoin startups Bitreserve and Coinbase as well as the raise by the UK’s new unicorn Transferwise. We look at Monitise’s sale announcement and Level39’s new space in Canary Wharf.

We talk to Wragge Lawrence Graham and Co’s Richard Goold about how big a threat challenger banks are to the traditional financial insitutions.
