GoodBox is a tech-for-good company, founded on the insight that a cashless society is having a negative impact on the charity sector.
As a result, the Manchester-based company provides charities with a single point of entry to a range of digital fundraising tools and contactless technology.
Raised £9 million
Recently, the UK company has raised £9 million in funding from existing investors such as tennis champion Andy Murray. The funding will allow the company to transform the global non-profit sector by using technology to better connect donors with the causes they care about.
Founded by Andrew O’Brien and Francesca Hodgson in 2016, GoodBox has partnered with over 1,600 non-profit organisations to modernise its fundraising.
Increased donation income by up to 85%
The company has processed millions in donations and enabled returns on investment of up 85% for the organisations it works with. Goodbox recently partnered with organisations like Pret A Manger and supermarket chain Sainsbury’s to bolster their philanthropic efforts.
It’s worth mentioning that GoodBox has enabled some of the UK’s largest fundraising campaigns throughout the pandemic.
