Tech entrepreneurs can have a wide variety of motivations for exiting their business, ranging from a lifestyle change to chasing the next big thing.
Whatever the reason for selling, every owner should plan by making sure the exit strategy is part of the agenda from the start.
For many entrepreneurs navigating the complex world of finance can be challenging. As a decision that is based as much on raising funds as finding the right partner, and often business mentors, it can be difficult to know what the right option is for your business.
Whatever your next step is, there are some key considerations for an entrepreneur preparing for an exit, whether that is:
- Trade, private equity or float;
- When is the right time;
- Who do you need to consider in your plans; and
- What do I need to prepare?
‘Taking the Leap: Preparing for Exit‘, a panel event co-hosted by UKTN and RSM, will explore the challenges and opportunities preparing for exit may bring as part of London Tech Week.
RSM will be on hand to answer your questions and highlight some of the areas you need to make sure you’ve got covered at our preparing for exit panel chat.
During the session you’ll hear from RSM’s head of Technology, Media and Telecoms as well as a VC fund and a tech business that has been through an exit.
The session will be moderated by UKTN’s editor Yessi Bello Perez.
Please register to attend; we’d love to meet you and hear about your journey so far and help you take the next steps.
