Crowdfunded Jolla takes on Nokia, Snapchat launches Snapcash and more in your Week in Tech

This week Playcanvas raised $470k, Obellix raised a whopping $4.7m and Patient Knows Best raised $1.7m.

It’s another David and Goliath story this week as Jolla crowdfunds $380k to create an open source tablet taking on Nokia’s new N1 tablet. Snapchat launched Snapcash in an attempt to take on money transfer giant’s Paypal and Ping it.
