Eyetease win at HP Smart Business Awards

HP have announced the winners of the 2013 Smart Business Award, honouring Britain’s smartest businesses across six categories.

Eyetease Media, a Tech City local won the Innovation award for ‘iTaxitop’ Europe’s first digital advertising on top of black cabs. The award also recognised Eyetease’s CabWifi product, the world’s first ads-for-access in-car wifi system for taxis.

The London Jewellery School picked up the award for Skills Creation. The school is Europe’s largest jewellery training centre, capable of teaching thousands of people every year how to make jewellery.

gandyWith their humble beginnings in Croydon another company who prospered in the awards were Gandys.

Gandys are a unique flip flop brand who give 10% of all profits to orphans was started by two passionate young brothers. They scooped the Social Media award for their impressive online presence.
