Each week we trawl through the internet’s jumble sale of apps to bring you a cool, new app that will hopefully improve your life in some way. This week is an app that puts your favourite music from across the internet in one place: Songdrop.
Everything in its right place
Online music is everywhere. It’s on YouTube, Soundcloud and Bandcamp to name just a few. We love that it’s everywhere but that also leads to problems.
Songdrop streamlines music services into one app, letting you listen and combine all the music through it. It’s the go to app for lovers of new music.
On the go, at work, at home
The app is available for download on iOS and for your desktop – bookmark a song you found online at work so that you can listen to it on the way home without having to remember which website you heard it on.
It’s effectively Delicious for music.
Off to a festival?
This app is perfect for sharing playlists.
If you’re off to a festival this summer it’s worth checking to see if someone’s made a playlist of the best songs you’re looking forward to. For those with withdrawal symptoms from Field Day or The Great Escape should check out the chart page now.
