Download of the Week: FrameBlast

Each week we trawl through the internet’s jumble sale of apps to bring you a cool, new app that will make your life better.

This week’s app is FrameBlast, a video editing app that gives you a little bit more.

Ease of editing

Shooting video on your phone has never been easier.

The iPhone 5S has an 8MP sensor – it wasn’t long ago that we were marvelling at digital cameras with the same stats. Smartphones now have phenomenal power.

FrameBlast allows you to record and merge video to create cinematographic beauty on your mobile.

Once you have recorded ‘blasts’, you can mix up the order, add filters and change the film styles.

Discover videos

FrameBlast feels a lot like the video answer to Instagram.

Like on the popular photography network, you can browse and discover impressive videos created all around the world.

You can like and comment on your favourites as you draw inspiration for your own masterpieces.

Growing quickly

The app has already been downloaded 550 thousand times and over 3 million videos have been created through the app.

Co-founder Steve Allen told Tech City News that reviews worldwide have been positive.

If you are looking for a mobile video editing app, make sure you get it as a free download on iOS and Android.

You can also follow them at @FrameBlast where they post some of the best videos that users publish.
