Think you know Elevator Pitches? Think again.
Tech City News is now accepting entries for the second series of The Elevator Pitch.
The box set
In series one of The Elevator Pitch, 13 founders pitched their startup as they plummeted 37 floors in 30 seconds at the Heron Tower.
It’s the ultimate way to get your startup noticed.
Take a look at one of our favourite pitches from the first series at the top of this post.

Over $15m funding raised
Since filming the first series in January, our selected 13 companies have raised over $15m in funding, including the stand-out success story YPlan who are now expanding to New York. This is your chance to be a part of the next group of Elevator Pitch startups.
The 2nd series wouldn’t be possible without the support of Rackspace, EC1 Capital, Fried Frank and Google Campus.
Elevator Pitch 2: Pitch Harder
Series two will bring twelve new startups to a secret new location, after completing a revamped application procedure.
The first 50 applicants will win a pitching slot at Google Campus on Wednesday 3rd July between 09:00 – 12:00.
Round one
The first 50 applicants will be invited to Campus’ video booth, where they’ll record their very own pitch demo video.
Campus will then produce the videos and publish them to a playlist on Youtube. You must fill in the form below to apply for a slot.
Round two
After taking demos at Google Campus, a shortlist of 25 startups will then take part in our new Dragons Den style round at the end of July where you’ll get the chance to pitch in front of a panel of experts including Google Campus’ Eze Vidra and Level39’s Eric van der Kleij and get one-to-one feedback.
Round three
12 of the best startups will then take part of our infamous Elevator Pitch video series. We’ve got an even more exciting pitch location this time round, which we’ll be revealing very soon.
Startups that make it to the final round will also win prizes from our sponsors. Commenting on the launch Campus’ Eze Vidra said:
“Entrepreneurs can hugely benefit from the ability to quickly and clearly communicate their ideas. The CampusCam booth and the Tech City News Elevator Pitch contest will help showcase the best and brightest pitches in Tech City and encourage more founders to hone this ability”.
