Robin AI, a legal tech startup developing generative artificial intelligence tools for legal tasks, has appointed a former financial executive at Tumblr and MySpace as its CFO.
Scott Casey has been announced as the AI startup’s new chief financial officer, following its £20.6m Series B round in January.
Casey has worked in financial roles for the past 30 years, with previous roles including VP of finance at MySpace and finance function lead at mobile gaming giant Zynga.
“Robin AI possesses a unique blend of vision and industry-leading innovation, and it is poised to lead the global market in AI-driven legal services. I am thrilled to be part of the team and look forward to supporting their journey to the next level,” Casey said.
Founded in 2019, Robin AI is used by businesses to automate time-consuming legal tasks, such as contract drafting and extracting key information from documents.
The London-based firm has raised over £30m since it was launched, including investments from Monzo co-founder Tom Blomfield.
“No one understands the intricacies of scaling a business better than Scott. His extensive talent and experience make him an invaluable addition to our leadership team,” said Richard Robinson, CEO, and co-founder of Robin AI.
