Growth Tribe raises €3m to accelerate growth

Digital skills training company Growth Tribe has raised €3 million from Rinkelberg Capital Ltd, a London-based investment office closely associated with the co-founders behind TomTom, who also invested in Spotify, Takeaway.com and Ace & Tate.

Growth Tribe has been entirely bootstrapped since its founding in Amsterdam five years ago and expanded rapidly into six European countries, with campuses in the UK, France, Finland, Denmark & Norway.

Growth Tribe enables individuals, teams, and organisations to update their digital capabilities in growth marketing, data science, UX design, data analytics, machine learning & artificial intelligence.

Growth Tribe has built a reputation for designing learning solutions that ensure rapid skills acquisition with a focus on learner engagement and enjoyment.

Since April 2020, all Growth Tribe courses have been available online. The training company has also begun the development of its own learning experience platform. The platform will be an extension of the current training portfolio, offering users micro-learning experiences to improve their knowledge retention and skills adoption.

Peter van Sabben, co-founder and CEO says, “After five years of bootstrapping, it’s time to accelerate Growth Tribe’s next phase of growth, further expanding our training portfolio, digitising our courses to reach new markets, and developing our learning experience platform.

“With Rinkelberg Capital, we have a great financial partner who believes in our vision – to inspire people and organisations to always be learning so they can adapt, stay up to date, and succeed in a fast changing world.”

The company is now ready to expand their learning suite reskilling and upskilling the workforces of large enterprises via internal academies.

Marc Slendebroek, CEO, Rinkelberg Capital explains, “Our firm is excited to support Growth Tribe in its next phase of corporate growth.

“There is strong demand for well-educated professionals with strong capabilities in the digital space, enabling Growth Tribe’s clients to deal with digital transformation with confidence and optimism.”

GrowthTribe has educated over 15,000 people with a client base of over 900 companies. The company will use the investment to further accelerate the development of its online training courses and learning platform.
