DAS and Enterprise Small Cells – Competition or Collaboration?
Date: Thu 7 to Thu 7 Dec 2017
Time: 12:30 to 16:30
Location: Huawei, 300 S Oak Way, Green Park, Reading, RG2 6UF
As in-building cellular technology continues to evolve, Small Cells now becoming more commonly used to power in-building DAS systems.
Technical options are blurring with solutions ranging from sets of standalone small cells, distributed radio systems to DAS with embedded small cell functionality. When you add the potential options for unlicensed spectrum, the changing attitudes towards neutral hosts and the growing demand for higher quality in-building service, there is plenty of food for thought. This seminar examines how both DAS and Enterprise Small Cells are likely to be adopted, and considers whether a closer combination is a winning combination. A series of expert speakers from radically different viewpoints will address both the technical and commercial practicalities, followed by an open Q&A panel session.
